Detailed Itinerary
Rishikesh to Joshimath (Drive)
Scenic drive (250km/10-12hrs) along Alaknanda River via Devprayag and Rudraprayag. Overnight in Joshimath (1,890m) with orientation session.
Joshimath to Chitrakhana (Trek)
Drive to Dhak (1hr), then trek through oak and rhododendron forests to Chitrakhana (2,450m). First views of Hathi-Ghodi peaks.
Chitrakhana to Tali Top
Steep ascent through coniferous forests to Tali Top (3,300m). 360° views of Nanda Devi range. Camp near alpine lake.
Tali Top to Kuari Pass to Khulara
Summit day! Climb to Kuari Pass (3,820m) for sunrise over Nanda Devi. Descend to Khulara meadows (3,350m) via Lord Curzon's Trail.
Khulara to Auli (Trek) to Joshimath (Drive)
Gentle descent through forests to Auli (2,500m). Drive back to Joshimath. Celebration dinner.
Joshimath to Rishikesh (Drive)
Return drive to Rishikesh with stops at confluences. Trip concludes.
